Is it permissible to donate interest money to a charity?

Interest money is a result of a prohibited transaction and it must be donated, as the person does not own it. It is thus prohibited to intend for reward when given to a charity, rather one should give it whilst seeking forgiveness from Allah the Almighty. One should also ensure to inform the charity of its source, so it is spent accordingly.
